Welcome to the next level

One of the biggest perks of working for Threeview is that we always get to mess with the latest technologies and gadgets. Like when HP (Hewlett-Packard) mailed me that nifty touch screen camera we were working on a tutorial for. That thing was awesome. EVERYBODY wanted to play with it. But hey, it was kind of secret at the time, so I had to keep it on the hush…

Today is different, though. Today you’ll get a sneak peek at an upcoming technology that we’re not even sure the world is ready for.

Bikes – so HOT right now!

Do you know the phenomenon – you have something on your mind, and all of a sudden you see it everywhere? Since working on texts for our client BIKE EXPO – a new trade fair that premiered in Munich last July – bikes have been popping up wherever I look.

As it turns out, bikes are really hot right now, who would have thought?

The New York Times featured an article about the German suburb Vauban, a planned development boasting an infrastructure entirely devoid of cars. Seems to be spot-on in terms of future trends, as German cities all over are investing into their bicycle paths.

New Year’s Resolution: Going Paperless

I finally gave in. After years of handling all my personal planning strictly in pen-on-paper mode, I went digital. What with Threeview striving to be a greener, more sustainable company these days, going paperless just seemed like the right thing to do.

The rest of my colleagues at Threeview had made the switch years ago. So whenever a calendar event or notification for a meeting went out via e-mail, it automatically became part of their day-to-day planning.

Sleek. Fully integrated. Efficient.

As for me, I still had to get the pen out and copy the event into my trusty Filofax (in my best handwriting… then again, maybe not).
